Annie E. Ronquest, 63, of Spotsylvania, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011. She was born September 11, 1947 to Joseph Brooks and Ella Luck Brooks. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband William M. Ronquest, Sr. Annie was a great cook and loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids.
She is survived by her son William M. Ronquest, Jr. of Spotsylvania, daughter, Jessica E. Nettles David of Louisa, brother, Thomas Ray Brooks Judy of Spotsylvania, sisters, Linda Hall of Spotsylvania and Lilly Williams of Mineral, mother-in-law, Margaret Hix of Spotsylvania, daughter-in-law Sherry Palmer of Mineral, grandchildren, T.J. Garner and Lauren Garner of Spotsylvania, Brittany Ronquest and Travis Palmer of Mineral, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa where a funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2011. The Rev. Greg Akers will be officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Mineral. Serving as pallbearers are, David Croxton, Thomas Hamm, Lee McCartney, David Palmer, Eddie Hurd, and Roger Cooke.
