Never Alice” but always “Li ” she was always there always solid a key part of the lives of her nieces and nephews when we were growing up and then some. A bundle of organization and energy packed into a little frame seemingly tireless always outspoken. There was no better day than to sit quietly while she answered our never ending questions about our uncles and aunts and life on a rural farm in depression era Virginia. Her legacy is the memories I have and will be able to share with my wife and son my siblings and parents. It is a good day now when her pain is gone her mobility restored her eyesight sharp as she is greeted by St. Peter and ushered in. Heaven help an angel who disagrees with her!!!”
