Alice Turney Greene, 65 of Louisa died at her residence on Thursday, September 13, 2007.She was a member of the FELRA Union and had worked for A&P.
Mrs. Greene is survived by Her husband Calvin Boyd Greene, three daughters; Faith Baker & her husband Randy of Mineral, Thelma Sands & her husband Toddie of Bumpass, Melonie Stewardson & her husband Lewis Keller, IV of Mineral; two brothers, Charles Turney & his wife Brigetta of Germany, and Wayne Turney & his wife Paula of Mineral; three sisters Evelyn Nelson & her husband Frank, of Maryland Judy Greene & her husband Kermit of Mineral and Lynne Greene & her husband Russell of Bumpass; seven grandchildren; Morgan & Miranda Baker, Logan Sands, Kenith Stewardson, Adam Stewardson, Lewis Keller, 5th and Alison Greene; one great grandchild Asia Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Donald Turney & Gerald Turney.
Funeral service will be held 2pm on Saturday, September 15th at Woodward Funeral Home. Dr. David Cole will officiate and burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8pm on Friday, September 14th at Woodward Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are, Raymond Lee Baker, Lewis Keller, IV, Randy Baker, Toddie Sands, Brian Badgett, Robert Greene, Scott Greene and Allen Turney.
