Anna “Baba” Wynnyk
May 22, 1926 – May 23, 2017
Anna “Baba” Wynnyk, 91, of Louisa, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2017.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Petro “Pete” Wynnyk and two infant sons.
Anna is survived by her five children: Alex Wynnyk (Irene), Olga Wynnyk, Mike Wynnyk (Jennifer), Maria Heil (Steve), Honya Weeks (Carl). Grandchildren: Patrick Wynnyk (Lauri), Alex Wynnyk (Veronica), Jeffrey Heil (Jenny), Jamie Gallagher (Matt), Christopher Wynnyk, Sarah Gallagher (Andy), Mitchel Wynnyk (Lisa), Michael Wynnyk (Hannah). Great-grandchildren: Joshua Wynnyk, Megan Wynnyk, Devin Wynnyk, Tyler Wynnyk, Georgianna Wynnyk, Nikolajis Heil, Madelyn Gallagher, Maximus Heil, Annabelle Gallagher, Charlotte Gallagher, Penelope Gallagher, Svetlana Heil and Lucas Wynnyk. Pets: Gomer, Keiser, Farmer and Francis.
The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. Monday, May 29, 2017 at Ukrainian Catholic National Shrine of the Holy Family 4250 Harewood Road, N.E., Washington, DC 20017
A service will follow at 10 am. at the church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery 175 Oak Leaf Drive, Louisa, VA 23093
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ukrainian Catholic National Shrine of the Holy Family
