Obituary

Mildred C. Failacci, 81, of
Bumpass, Virginia, passed away
on Sunday, March 11, 2018
at UVA Hospital. She was a
military wife for 22 years, and
worked many years as a dental
assistant. Mildred was a skilled
seamstress and quilt maker.
She is preceded in death
by her parents, Leopold and
Virginia LaCroix, and her son,
David Failacci Jr.
She leaves to cherish her
memory her husband, David
D. Failacci; her daughters, Karen
Smith (Robbie) and Diane
Chandler (Al); her son, Daniel
Failacci (Denise); her grandchildren,
Benjamin and James May
and David and Krista Failacci.
A funeral service will be held
at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 19,
2018 at Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, located at 1107
Fredericks Hall Rd., Buckner,
Virginia. Father Michael Duffy
will officiate.
Interment will be in Arlington
National Cemetery at a later
date. In lieu of flowers, please
make memorial donations in her
